The AI will try to fill shifts roughly evenly. The higher the productivity, the more products will be produced during the shift. During a shift, each worker generates productivity, which is turned into the product. Buildings that have an inactive shift are very likely to freeze during that shift.The exact production will vary depending on the attributes of the workers.
